ON-LINE REGISTRATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Link will be activated on 8/23/2008 at 9am
Your chance of getting on more popular field trips is greatly increased if you register early and on-line. Some field trips may sell out in a matter of minutes once pre-registration starts. Also keep in mind that it is the nature of the internet for web sites that are experiencing heavy traffic to malfunction. If you experience difficulty while navigating the registration site, or cannot get on it at all, please be patient and keep trying. We also ask that you please not call the festival line if you’re having this problem as there is nothing anyone will be able to do to help. The quickest way to get your registration completed is to just keep trying. |
|
ON-LINE REGISTRATION: On or after 9AM on August 23, 2008, log onto www.coastalgeorgiabirding.org, click on “Registration”, and follow the instructions. Once you’ve completed the on-line registration process, print out a copy of your invoice and mail it, along with a check or money order for the total registration cost, made payable to Coastal Georgia Audubon Society, to the address below.
CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Payment must be received by the earlier of 3 weeks from registration date or September 28. If no payment is received within this timeframe, festival staff reserves the right to cancel registrations. You will receive confirmation of your registration via email when completed.
MAIL-IN REGISTRATION (not recommended if registering for popular field trips – see box above): Complete the enclosed registration form and mail it and a check or money order for the total registration cost, made payable to Coastal Georgia Audubon Society, to the address below:

| Once your registration is received and processed, we will send you a written confirmation. If any of your first choice selections are full, we will automatically register you for the second choice selections you made on your registration form. If there is a difference in the cost of any second choice selections (refund or additional fees due the festival), this will be taken care of when you check-in at the festival.
** IMPORTANT **
** Mail-in Registrants: A separate registration form must be filled out for each individual registering for the festival. Forms received with more than one person listed will be returned and not processed. If you wish to be registered with another person or persons, each person in your group needs to fill out his or her own registration form and then send them attached together, in the same envelope. One check or money order may be used to pay for individuals registering together.

CHECK-IN
Upon arrival at the festival (and before your first registered field trip or seminar), all pre-registered attendees will need to check-in at the registration desk located inside the Jekyll Island Convention Center. Here you will receive a commemorative tote-bag containing tickets to all of your registered events, maps to field trip locations, and various other goodies.
Please contact the Jekyll Island Welcome Center at 1-877-4JEKYLL if there are extenuating circumstances that will keep you from checking-in, and you need to make other arrangements to receive your tickets.

| A WORD ABOUT FOOD…
There are only a limited number of restaurants and grocery stores on Jekyll Island and most do not open early enough to accommodate the departure times for our field trips. Please consider bringing breakfast and picnic lunch provisions with you, especially if you have special dietary needs or preferences. Guest rooms in most hotels have small refrigerators and microwaves. For a list of restaurants and groceries, go to www.jekyllisland.com. There will also be a concession selling coffee and breakfast pastries each morning inside the Convention Center, where all field trips originate.
