to the public throughout the festival!

Explore and learn about Georgia’s magnificent coastline at The Rookery: an interactive exhibit center located in the Jekyll Island Convention Center’s Atlantic Hall. Discover Georgia’s coastal environment at interactive booths hosted by authors, artists, and conservationists. Talk with professionals who will help you choose the right binoculars, plan your birding trips and find artwork for your home. See the live reptile display at US Fish & Wildlife’s exhibit. On Saturday, be sure to catch the live raptor shows conducted by Georgia Southern University’s Center for Wildlife Education and Lamar Q. Ball Raptor Center.

Interested in birding but not sure how to get started? Join an experienced leader who will demonstrate how to use binoculars and lead participants on a short walk to experience first hand how you can live in the moment while using all of your senses to look for birds.
